Qld Beaders Charm Swap - December 20080 viewsAhhh. The joys of deciding to make beads using Double Amber Purple glass. All of these beads were made with this glass.
Rules of this swap were to make charms in Purple, Green, Gold or Bronze. I think I ended up with 14 the same or similar enough that I can actually use.

AGBG Colour Reactions - March/April 20098 viewsRules: (Short Version) Beads must be made on a base of White, Ivory or Black. Silver Leaf/foil can be used, as can the Silver glasses, eg Double Helix.
These beads are made on a White base, with dots of Rubino Oro around the equator and Ink Blue around the edges. All melted in, then Pink dots placed on top of the Rubino and heated until the reaction happens.
All Effetre glass.
(Thanks for this recipe goes to a lady on LE.)

11th April 20104 viewsI left Petrie at 1.30pm and this shot was taken an hour later just as I came off the double lanes heading towards Gympie. This was going to be my second lot of rain this trip and it ended up being so bad that for about 5 seconds or so I could not see the lines on the road. Bit of panic occured there... Thankfully the car in front of me had their lights on as that was all I could see. I almost got taken out by some douche bag screaming up behind me tho. Far out, even *I* slow down when its raining!!
