Wooden Cabinet for Glass Storage120 viewsThis cabinet has been sitting under Deane's workplace for 5 or 6 years and so we snavled it so I could use it to store my lampwork glass rods. It is 2.3 mt high x 1.08 mt wide x 34 cm deep and only just fits under the ceiling and boy, did the guys have fun getting it in there. ...and then getting it upright. Thankfully they only took a couple of tiny pieces of paint off the house in the process...

Yard Maintenance in preparation for Shade Sail installation - March 20079 viewsThe back fence on the northern side of our house was totally covered with passionfruit and other assorted vines. I liked them. Deane's idea of "tidying it up" was different to mine and now they are all gone. Gives me a fresh start if I ever want to get into gardening I guess. ;-)

Yard Maintenance in preparation for Shade Sail installation - March 20078 viewsThe northern side of our back yard after Deane spent his entire Sunday trimming and chopping down trees.. This is so unlike my garden-phobe hubby. I even joked to him that he's probably going to be asking for a lawn mower for his birthday next... He said no. (We pay someone to mow our lawn...) ;-)

Yard Maintenance in preparation for Shade Sail installation - March 200713 viewsThe middle date palm along with another one the same size is going next weekend. Deane reckons he can chop them down himself so we'll see what happens. It interferes with our satellite receiver so it will be good for it to be gone.

Deane's owie...26 viewsDeane had his right ulna nerve released on Thursday 5th April 2007 and had the dressing removed yesterday - 13th April. He's left with a 7.5cm wound and yet to have complete feeling return to his fingers, but we are hoping that it will come good once the swelling has gone down.

Four frogs left...0 viewsIt started raining and as usual, I looked outside to see if we had any frogs on our back verandah. I ran through the house to grab my camera, telling Deane on the way to go out and have a look at our downpipe. Unfortunately, by the time I got back upstairs the froggies were well on their way to jumping down onto the ground so I got the final 5 - there is another one right in the corner but cannot be seen in this shot. All up we counted 8 frogs. 8 big juicy fat frogs. lol
