Nile Green Opalino Lampwork Vessel Necklace38 viewsThis was the first vessel I ever made (back in 2004) and I have been hanging out to make something with it ever since. I've made this necklace so that I can remove the vessel and put it onto a different style necklace at a later date. My own lampwork vessel; Moss Green Hurricane Beads; Bali and Sterling Silver; Stg. Silver Chain and Swarovski Crystals.

Beading Forum Year of Jewellery - Week 7, 2006 - ORGANIC26 viewsI whipped up this quick pair of earrings because no one has entered anything for this weeks challenge and it ends at midnight tonight.
These are made from some slices of something that I bought at the Stitches and Craft show earlier this year, or was it last year?? Gold fill chain with Fresh Water Pearls and Carnelian rounds attached with gold fill wire. Earring hooks are made from Vermeil head pins, because I wired everything up before realising I didn't have any GF earring hooks! lol

gbm Aussie Charm Exchange. Aug-Oct 2007 - Bracelet Process.20 viewsNow that I have all my charms, I figure I had better get my bracelet put together.
After trialling a few different designs, I finally decided on this chainmaille weave. I hacked the directions to use split rings, and found that when you don't have the right diameter jump ring mandrel, improvise... A 3.5mm rod of Gaffer glass did the trick in this case. (No need to comment on the unevenness of the rings in the middle - it's tricky to wind wire onto a 3.5mm rod of glass using just your fingers...)

Beading Forum Challenge #20 - Davy Jones Locker. 10th March to 25th May 2008.5 viewsI wanted this bracelet to signify lost treasures, so when I came across the Hematite flower components that had once belonged to another bracelet, I knew immediately that they had to be a part of this piece.
They signify treasures that were lost, but occasionally, can become found.
The Hematite hearts signify the hearts of those who were lost, while the sterling rounds speak of the arms of their loved ones embracing them.
The chain and huge clasp signify the bondage that the sea, & Davy Jones, has on them.

Component Necklace No. 2. Greens.3 viewsI am really having fun making these. Wonder how many different colours I will do before I realise enough is enough... hehe
Base metal chain and components, my own Lampwork Beads, Czech beads, Faux Turquoise. Well, they were in the slot with my turquoise so no idea what else they might be... (That's the round green and ivory looking ones I'm talking about.)
|
|

Mixed Component Necklace No. 3. - White and Turquoise.3 viewsSick of these yet? I'm not. hehe
Base metal chain, artistic wire and a few sterling rounds thrown in, some of my lampies, and the Blue and White rectangle beads are dyed Howlite.
Hmmm... what colour next...?

Chrissie's 21st Charm Bracelet. Chrissie asked me to make her a new "chunkier" charm bracelet for her 21st birthday. So what do I do...?11 views...Yep, I decide that buying large, chunky chain is too expensive so I would learn how to do silver soldering so I could make one myself...
$700 or $800 later and here is the finished product...
All rings were cut and soldered by me. Unfortunately, I ran into some difficulty when it came time to solder the actual charm links on... They just wouldn't take for some reason, so I will give her some pliers so she can keep an eye on them herself. ;-)
