Green Noshoes25 viewsMade for Beading Forum Year of Jewellery Week 5 2006 - "Hippy"
This weeks theme took me straight back to the early 70's when my cousin and I used to make these noshoes with white twine and woven twine flowers. I didn't have any flowers so I improvised by using some of my floral lampwork beads.

Love Beads - Necklace and a Bracelet17 viewsMade for the Beading Forums YOJ week 5 2006 "Hippy" theme.
"Hippy" took me straight back to my cousins house where we would make heaps and heaps of love bead jewellery. Thankfully we don't have to show the sort of clothes we wore. Hipster flares and the like... lol

Beading Forum Year of Jewellery - Week 7, 2006 - ORGANIC26 viewsI whipped up this quick pair of earrings because no one has entered anything for this weeks challenge and it ends at midnight tonight.
These are made from some slices of something that I bought at the Stitches and Craft show earlier this year, or was it last year?? Gold fill chain with Fresh Water Pearls and Carnelian rounds attached with gold fill wire. Earring hooks are made from Vermeil head pins, because I wired everything up before realising I didn't have any GF earring hooks! lol

Beading Forum Bezel/Bead Embroidery Challenge - May/June 076 viewsMermaid Dreaming is for my granddaughters. This is the first time I have ever attempted bezeling and bead embroidery and so it has taken me the entire 6 weeks to get it done. It still needs something to hang it from but with the posting closing tomorrow morning, I'm just entering it as it is. I'll certainly be doing some more of this sort of thing.
