Patchwork Hearts Bracelet161 viewsCHALLENGE RULES: Create a piece of wearable art with a Valentines Day theme, including at least two of the following mediums: Seedies, wirework, metalwork or lampwork.
I love how the murrini turned out on these beads. They remind me of patchwork and the sewing samplers we used to do in primary school.
Anyhoo...

Gothic Romance Bracelet154 viewsCHALLENGE RULES: Create a piece of wearable art with a Valentines Day theme, including at least two of the following mediums: Seedies, wirework, metalwork or lampwork.
I had time to make a 2nd piece for the challenge, but didn't want to go the "pink" route again. Black and red appealed to me this time.
Bracelet contains: Base metal chains and head pins. Lampwork beads, (my own). Garnet buttons and rondelles. Seed beads. Spacer beads, silver rounds and bead caps are all Sterling/Bali Silver.Feb 20, 2011

Lampwork Lady Bugs171 viewsThis challenge ends on Sunday 12th Dec 2010. It is now Friday 10th December and I am heading off to Brisbane tomorrow morning. The plan is that I will make something using these ladybugs for my granddaughter Halle, (affectionately known as "Halle Bug") at our bead meet tomorrow and then not be too tired, (or forget), to post photos of it when we get home on Sunday night.
Wish me luck. :)Dec 10, 2010
